Fees & Payments Policy

1. Types of Fees
Sellers may be required to pay the following types of fees. Please note that all fees are listed exclusive of any value-added tax (VAT) that may apply.
Transaction Fees
When you make a sale through ShopAiken.com, you will be charged a transaction fee of 10% of the price you display for each listing. This does not include the shipping fee. Transaction fees are deducted from your current balance as each sale occurs, and are reflected in your vendor dashboard.
Withdrawal Fees
There will be a $0.50 gateway fee applied to each transaction upon commission withdrawal.
Payment Processing Fees
Online Sales. Eligible ShopAiken.com shops may use ShopAiken.com to accept certain payments through ShopAiken.com. ShopAiken.com charges a payment processing fee for each transaction through ShopAiken.com. This fee is assessed on the total amount of the sale, excluding tax and shipping. Payment processing fees are deducted from the sale amount in your account.
Advertising and Promotional Fees
ShopAiken.com offers a service to help you advertise your listings and promote your shop. Advertising and promotional fees vary by opportunity and will be clearly outlined before you commit to purchasing an ad. Advertising and promotional fees must be paid before the sponsored listings are made live.
Shipping Fees
Shipping is the responsibility of the vendor. Each vendor should put their own shipping policies in place. ShopAiken.com does not charge a fee for shipping and does not currently offer shipping labels. The vendors have complete control of how they want to ship and how much they want to charge for it.
2. Fee Avoidance
Any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by ShopAiken.com. This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase an item in your ShopAiken.com shop through another venue. A transaction initiated on ShopAiken.com may not be completed off of ShopAiken.com. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not alter the item’s price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding ShopAiken.com transaction fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user’s account without permission.
3. Paying your ShopAiken.com Fees
ShopAiken.com will automatically deduct all fees owed from your account. Provided you have sufficient funds in your payment account no further payment action is required. If your payment account does not contain sufficient funds you are responsible for paying any fees owed in full within 15 days of being notified. ShopAiken.com may suspend your account and take further legal action to collect fees. If you make a sale while you have an outstanding balance, the net sale amount will be applied to your outstanding balance. You may pay your outstanding balance manually by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
ShopAiken.com may suspend your selling privileges at any time pending payment of your outstanding balance.
4. ShopAiken.com Payments
ShopAiken.com enables sellers to accept various forms of payment via PayPal Checkout while using ShopAiken.com’s services. Sellers registered for ShopAiken.com can accept payment by credit card, debit card, ShopAiken.com Coupons, and PayPal.
5. Taxes
Aside from the limited circumstances set out below, you are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes associated with using and making sales through ShopAiken.com’s services.
A. Taxes on Seller Services
Where applicable, state sales tax will be applied to any ShopAiken.com subscription fee charged by ShopAiken.com.
